2006 SANTE PCM 5.7 343 Impeller walk through - please help tweak process

Hi All,
tying up a few loose ends for my winter season. And I still cannot possibly imagine how people swap out an impeller with an inch clearance against the muffler.
Asking folks with similar boats to measure how much room between the pulley for the impeller and the muffler housing.
My best thought is that (my) muffler drooped too far towards the engine squeezing out any spacing. And I need to just situate the muffler back a couple inches and re-tighten the exhaust tubing. Sxhaust is course is seized on the riser, probably need to be cut off with a saws all lol.
And if any kind soul can measure how much room they had to work for their impeller spacing. In my old thread people thought I was nuts! So maybe just another 2” of room to work?
