I've owned my 2008 SANTE with 343 Excal motor for 14 years and has been the absolute best boat ever. I'm starting to have some throttle issues though and I'm uncertain what might be causing it. Maybe a failing cable? It will engage from neutral just fine and during acceleration it tends to skip or not stay put at the 19-22mph rpm range consistently. It will be driving along at 22 and lose throttle power, so I'm assuming the cable is slipping even though the handle isn't moving.
Has anyone replaced this cable before? How difficult of a job or is there a video somewhere?
Thanks
