G25 Winterize

I live in NC where the lows get maybe low 20’s and highs usually in the low 40’s during the winter. I keep my 2019 G25 in a storage lot about 4 minutes from my house so I get get to the boat quickly if needed
I was wondering if there was a way to use some form of thermostat to kick on if the temps get below freezing so I don’t have to winterize the boat? I have solar at my shed so I could tap into that for power if I had to.

You could use something like an Xtreme Heater. I use those in my boats at my dock over the winter. Just be sure you will always have power (or have a generator ready to go).

It is very easy to winterize your engine though. Should only take about 15 minutes to drain it.

Don't forget to drain your heater (not shown here) if you have one. Also, if you use am Xtreme Heater, remember that the heater core is under the driver's dash, and is usually the first thing to crack in a freeze. Be sure to either drain it or put a heater on that too.
