Anyone know how these shurflo connectors come undo?

Need to replace one my shower connectors - has a hairline crack. Have a new connector on the way. There seems to be some fitting in the line and it looks like the connector snaps in...? Anyone have experience with how the elbow part connects to the hose part?

Trying not to break anything further while doing the repair.

I do not have experience with these, but after Looking at the pictures of one, it looks like it’s a barb fitting. Maybe it’s just stuck and you need a small hose pick to release it?

Barbed fitting. It should come out from the hose...may take a bit of persuasioin though...

I have a similar connector on my boat's shower.

Thanks. Turns out there is some sort of brass fitting installed in the end of the hose. In the fitting, there is a soft material that the barb fits into. To replace, you work the barbed end out of the fitting as Jonny Quest described.

I have no idea who makes the hose insert part. Any ideas where you would get a replacement one if required?

Just ran across this thread as my shower setup is leaking and I needed parts. I found Heatercraft and Inner Demon Motorsports merged and they list marine shower parts and systems here. Marine Showers Systems / Parts – HeaterCraft Products LLC. (innerdemonmotorsports.com)
The wingnut swivel looks like the part you need for this hose. Looks like the hoses only come as a part of the kit, but that can be ordered without the pump on their site.
