I have a 2002 216V listed on the title but how do I know if it is a Sport, an Air or a Pro Air Nautique model?

There is no such thing as a 2002 216V. The 216V came much later than 2002.
EDIT: The 216V only existed from 2010 - 2011.

When I was looking this last fall for an Air Nautique in the 2000-2002 era I got pretty good at spotting some quick differences.
This is not meant to be all encompassing, just things I noticed and got familiar with when I was searching for my boat.
Off the bat, if the hull still has its badging you should be able to tell as they each say "Sport", "Air", "Pro Air".
Of course an owner could have removed the badging or applied a different boat model badging.
Sport/Air VS Pro Air
A Sport and Air both have the TSC smooth hull.
A Pro Air has the TWC hull. See pic below for comparison:
Sport VS Air
The Sport and Air are pretty much the same boat, with the Air being the "upgrade" in terms of standard equipment. The at a quick glance differences between a Sport and an Air for me comes down to the Flight Control Tower. There may be some other differences I'm not remembering from my time searching.
In 2002 the Flight Control Tower was standard on the Air and an add on for the Sport. When I was looking for my boat 9/10 times any Sport I would look at wouldn't have a tower or if it did it wasn't factory as it was added later. The Sport line was the "budget friendly" general watersports boat to get someone into a Nautique. I know its generalizing, but from my searching it seems most people didn't buy much for the optional packages when they got a Sport.
Ballast tanks could be another indicator. Again these were standard on the Air, but an add on for the Sport.
Those are some quick differences that I came to look for when I was shopping for my boat.
I'll echo what Jeff said though, post a few pictures and we'll help you figure out what it is.
