2005 sv211 team 330 Excalibur drain plug locations

Just purchased my first V Drive, coming from jet boat land so this is all new to me. I have put all but one of the plugs in. The instructions I found said (last one should go on a transmission hose on the bottom left of the motor if you are looking inside the boat I can explain it but it’s a long black tube) I have searched for this for over an hour and don't see it. Also, how deep should these bolts sit? flush with the engine block? Some seem so long that it would hit something on the other side.

Yeah, that's the transmission cooler drain plug. Let me see if I can find a picture.

Here you go. This is from page 64 of the 2005 PCM Engine Owner's Manual. The transmission cooler is the little cylinder in the lower right corner.

Thanks for this Jeff. Why is the PMC engine info not in the boat manual so strange? I downloaded the manual and looked at the different engine types. While this one seems to be the best fit, the odd thing in this diagram is the plugs 2-3 from the pic I posted show hoses coming from where I put those in. Also any thoughts on how flush these plugs should be cranked down?

You install these plugs until they are snug. They will still stick out. Don't over tighten them. 1 is the knock sensor that goes in the block drain hole. Do not put teflon tape or anything on the threads of that one. It relies on being electrically grounded to the block. Also, make sure you reconnect the wire that goes to that one.

If any of these are not tight enough, you'll get a water drip. If that happens then just tighten them a little more until the leak stops.
