    Zero Off Help

    Good afternoon.
I have a 2008 SAN 220 with the Zero Off speed control.
    Current Issue-LCD screen problems
-When I turn the boat on auxiliary the Zero Off comes on fine, but when i crank the boat up the zero of starts getting darker (as in too many pixles start showing)
-When you run the boat at idle the screen turns grey-ish, but as you get on the throttle it gets darker and eventually goes black (not blank)
NOTE- the speed control still works and kicks in at the desired speed, bit I just can't see that speed or any other info on the LCD screen.

    Anyone have this issue before?

I believe that the display is failing if I remember right. I just had to replace mine in my 2008 230 (lightning strike)... One thing I will tell you is if you have to replace the gauge, you should just get the entire Kit with antenna. The antenna alone through Nautique is like $1200... But you can order the whole kit with everything including new harness and antenna for $1325.. The old antenna/puck will not work with the new gauge and the new antenna must be mounted with the arrow facing forward/needing a new, larger hole... I confirmed with Zero off that this (first link) is the correct kit for my boat, so I would think same years should be the same for you.. And here is the same part number at great lakes skipper for a little less. (second link)

So my dealer sent the guage back to the manufacturer to be rebuilt/fixed. But came back with the same issue. It passed all of the tests after they rebuilt it, and it works, just not when you crank the boat up. I'm thinking it is a voltage issue. Like it's getting too much voltage. Voltage regulator issue maybe?
