Hello All,
I'm replacing the steering cable in my 95 SNOB. Nautique parts said the old cable was discontinued and I'd need to also replace the helm base assembly so the new cable would fit. So far, I've got the new cable routed through the boat and connected at the back but I can't figure out how to disassemble the old helm base assembly. Any help you can offer would be wonderful. Every nut I can assess from below spins the bolt instead of coming loose and I can't assess the other side to put a wrench on it. Any ideas?
