Windshield, rubs, fiberglass when folded open

Just looking for any help on how the windshield is rubbing the fiberglass when left open.

I added some clear rubber stops but they just slide back when it’s hot out and the adhesive let’s go.

So when I leave the windshield folded open.
I wasn’t sure if those large black gum drop stops were supposed to be keeping the aluminum frame off the fiberglass when opened

You can see by the Tower Base where it’s rubbing

Yes those black rubber pieces are supposed to keep this from happening. Can you take a picture of the black stopper with window open so we can see what’s happening

You can see the black rubber mark where the frame is pushing in the fiberglass. Is there a way to adjust up the center window? How do I turn the aluminum channel back so it doesn't touch fiberglass?

Just don't see where there's any ability to adjust the window, but it definitely looks like it's sagging.

The solution I came up with was to move the black gumdrop shaped bumpers :-)

The bottom bumper I moved to the center channel where the windshield overlaps. Bought a number eight stainless pan screw and put the nut inside the rubber bumper.

And I replaced the original bumper screw back in its original location.

I moved the top bumper in towards the hinge when the bottom bumper was touching.

This way, both of the black bumpers are supporting the windshield as a boat bouncing along.

So readjusting the bumpers is a very easy fix. And maybe the real answer is that center hinging piece gauls out over time and needs to be replaced? Who knows.
