Little "chatter" in gear at very low RMP

I am new to the forum - hope I am doing this correctly. We have a 2007 236 that we purchased 3 years ago. Boat runs great and has very low hours on it. As we left the dock this weekend we had a little chatter every once in -awhile at slow the slowest speed. As we put load onto the engine it sounds fine and no issues. Thought maybe prop was loose - but it seems fine. We recently added a clean air exhaust - so maybe now we are hearing more as the boat is quite. Should we be concerned on that sound or is that normal at a very slow RMP to hear it chatter every once in while?

Second - I am wanting to change transmission oil but can find very little support if we have a transmission filter. We have a PCM Power Pls 2007 transmission. DO we do fluids in both the Transmission and the V drive - or are they one. Sorry to sound stupid - just trying to learn the system. Any professionals or websites you know of to buy supplies for the transmission would be great to know!

I’m experiencing the same sound on a 2006 220. Hopefully someone has some insight on this.

My 06 210 did it too. It’s pretty annoying but has something to do with the damper plate

Should be able to find trans/fluid details this manual

        https://www.planetnautique.com/Corre.../2007PCMOM.pdf

I have yet to see a trans filter on any boat...there are typically trans coolers.

Switching from forward to reverse too fast will cause a short life of the damper plate springs, which can crack or fall out making noise.

The small “rattle “ is very common when you’re barley engaged . It is damper plates, Doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong or your should be extremely worried. Bleep the fluid fresh , topped off and change at intervals.
