Whoa, I just looked that part up. jpwhit nailed it, $4.5k plus with tax & ship, ouch. If push comes to shove use the PN discount code, it will make you feel a little better.
Good luck, hope you find a solve...

Ok, looking like I may need a new screen. Not looking forward to that. I tried different variations of order to get to the boot loader and tried with the USB stick from the dealer, no luck. Stuck on booting.

Holding top right button nothing comes up on the screen but the buttons illuminate and stay lit. Holding the bottom left button while powering up nothing happens except you see a faint black....cuz it's already black, rolling down the screen until the entire screen is darker....then nothing.

I did talk with the folks who make zero off....and they also make the linc screens. The guy there said the linc screen may be repairable but that would need to go through the dealer. Discussed with dealer, waiting to hear back.

My other thought here is to switch to the traditional gauges which were an option that year. Looks like a variety of unused plugs under the dash, any chance they were wired for either option and can easily be swapped over? Looks like nautique parts has everything needed...dash, gauges, and etc. I'm thinking that will be around $1500 as opposed to $4500. Any thoughts or advice?

        Thanks!

I've been repairing these screens as a side post retirement activity as my time allows. I can fix your screen if you want, or I think I have one of that model that I've already refurbished that I could send you in exchange for your broken screen. PM me if you're interested. I'd do the swap for the refurbished screen for $750.

I think it's possible to do the swap to analog gauges, but you'd be working in somewhat unknown territory doing it. I'm 95% sure your PDM would need to be re-programmed with different firmware and I don't think Nautique has any provision for doing that. I think the only way you could get the PDM with the right firmware for standalone gauges would be to order a new one with the correct firmware pre-loaded.

In the LINC manual I have it says to hold down the top left HOME key when power is turned on to get to the boot loader screen.

If you do decide to go the analog gauge route... you may want to start by going through this thread https://ballofspray.com/forums/topic...comment-835120

There are some additional things you'll need to get things like the heater, underwater lights, etc... going but it definitely seems feasible.

jpwhit, Can you change out this screen? This is the screen used in my 200 to set cruise and also display depth, temp and ballast levels. It's starting to go dark in areas and is difficult to see. Got a price on a new unit for $1300 plus shipping, ouch! It's about the size of a Perfect Pass or Zero Off display.

I really doesn't matter which button you press when booting up these screens. They pretty much all cause the boot loader to load. All except the bottom left button.

I think very likely it's the standard zero off head unit circuit board just running a specialized firmware for the sport 200. Does the boat have 3-event Zero Off capabilities? Does it have a tournament slalom mode where you can set the ABC/123 pull parameters?

I have replaced the LCD in a standard Zero Off before, but I was unable to source an LCD with the exact connectors used by Zero Off. I had to custom make an adapter. Assuming this is the same LCD panel, then I think that approach is possible, but it's quite tedious. I'd be happy to take a look at if you want.

                            jpwhit ,
It's not a Zero Off, at least not in function, I really wish it was and I have looked into upgrading it.

I looked into upgrading it to Zero Off when I bought the boat 3 years ago but was told I would lose multi panel functionality of the display if I change it out. They told me I could add a second device but the Zero Off would only handle speed control and the original display would be needed to handle all other functions (depth, temp and ballast gauges). All this said, I just looked at the Zero Off page and display color, and buttons are identical to the gauge in my boat but the functions of the buttons are obviously different. The connector on the back even looks the same as the one on my unit in the picture to the right of the display.

At this point I would be very open to you having a look at it after the season. I can get another (apparently) but at a crazy cost so at that point I really wouldn't have much to lose.

Thanks for the response and willingness to take a shot at this.....
