2021 G23 Antifreeze leak

Hopefully these pics show more. First one is taken from the front corner of the engine compartment and you can see the hose coming from the front of the boat is red and then the valve and then connected to black hose.

Second pic is more from the front and you can see the valve in question in front of the fuel control cell that you mentioned.

I just want to confirm what my buddy is saying (no reason to doubt him) that with both valves closed--I can run the engine without fear of damage to see if the leak continues or has been temporarily bypassed if it is from the heater core.

Ok. I see the second valve. It is logical to assume that closing these will remove the heater core from the circuit. But I cant say for sure because I cannot determine the hose routing and the placement of the valves, and that closing them both will not cause too much back pressure on the water pump. I would give your dealer a call to be sure.
