I would be interested to watch this project, hope you keep us posted on this.
What do you need to run down the tube, just wires or a USB cable?
I'm trying to think, I believe I have 6 wires on one side and 4 on the other, 2 speakers per side, wire for speaker lights, and the tower light. The speaker lights aren't beeing used (yet) so I have 2 free wires on each side. Maybe that's how it goes, I have only been in there once and I don't think I took any pictures. You can run a chase wire, as in bailing wire, from the top (speaker wire hole) out the bottom of the tube with the tower folded. This seems a fairly simple process but it never quite goes that way. Use your chase wire to pull your wiring up through the tube. You probably already figured out that you will need to pull the side panel for access below the tower.
Good luck.
that's what I was thinking too Scooter G. I will take a look at it once I get the boat and trailer back after 2 broken axles.... made for an expensive trip home from a long trip to the lake.
Waveslayer - did you ever get this project done? I ran wires up the tower of my 2020 G21 for some RGB speaker ring lights, it was a bit of a hassle but not too bad. Hit me up if you'd like more details. Scooter G has it right - partially fold the tower then run a fish line.
BasaltRMK boat and trailer are still at Shadow trailers waiting on axles... they think the prior owner left the ballast full and overloaded the trailer. I haven't been able to do anything , once I grab the boat I'll start this project and report back.
BasaltRMK thanks Bob, me too. I'm lucky enough to have an old man that loves the lake so we have a MasterCraft as well... so we have been out, but would like to have the G23 back to fit more peeps
