I'm the second owner of a 2015 230. It did not leave the factory with the GPS option, but I have paperwork showing that it was added by the dealer before the original owner took possession. It has never worked since I've owned the boat (no map, no zero off). I'm going to dig into it this weekend and am trying to figure out what exactly gets added to the LINC 2.0 to enable GPS. Is it a map card installed in the back of the LINC 2.0 screen and a dongle? I looked at it a little last fall and I think I've identified the dongle. I received the Navionics case for the card when I bought the boat. I've never checked to see if the card is actually installed and that's the first thing I plan to check this weekend. I really don't care about the maps, but would really like to get the zero off working. Any guidance is appreciated.

I've never owned a Nautique wake boat from the timeframe of your boat. But I have a lot of experience with Zero Off. If this is a true Zero Off speed control, most likely it would be the Wake edition, instead of the 3-event system. And it would have at least one GPS puck mounted in front of the windshield. Here's a link to various Zero Off systems for reference.
https://www.zerogps.com/kits/
All these kits show the stand alone Zero Off gauge with buttons and a display. But Zero Off make a "headless version" for boat that have an electronic display screen. In that case, there is still a round black box typically mounted to the firewall somewhere above the driver's feet. The boat's "screen" then talks to the headless black box via the CanBus.
I say, "true Zero Off", because some people use the term Zero Off to just mean a GPS based speed control. And a lot of wake boats have a simpler speed control system that uses a GPS, but it not really a true Zero Off system. I even wonder if Nautique has licensed and used the "Zero Off" branding to refer to such a system. I've seen some things that make me think that's the case, but I've never be able to verify if it's true or not.
On the LINC 2.0 screens, there is a little cover on the back of the screen where an SD card is inserted that contains maps. If you take picture of what you see, I may be able to provide more help.

The first picture is a female deutsch connector. Actually, it looks like the connector where a GPS puck would plug in. Does it have 4 wires going to it?
Second picture is a buzzer / beeper.

my boat (2014) does not have GPS speed control. there is no puck in front of the windshield. it uses a paddle wheel for speed control
i have been in contact with nautique parts, who has confirmed with nautique tech. the only thing needed to add gps speed control is the puck. they state the puck will plug right into linc and work. the puck is $1100 though...Last edited by kylant; 07-22-2023, 09:51 AM.

I been talking to Enovation Controls (ZeroOff) to get a new puck that is properly configured for my boat. They are requesting a picture of the ZeroOff diagnostic screen showing the part number and software on my system. I have been through the manual and searched online. I cannot figure out where this screen is. I sent them the system information screen, but he says that’s not what he needs. I’ve gone through the GPS untilies and the info is not there either. Even checked in dealer settings. Anyone know how to get this info out of a LINC 2?

The ZeroOff information is accessed from the ZeroOff (speed control) screen. I’m used to the tournament boat functions, which are different than yours. Nonetheless, go to that screen and you should have the option to press the lower right button for “More.” I’m not at the boat, so I don’t have the exact wording, but staring from there should get you pointed in the right direction.

I've pretty much given up on this because I've gotten a bunch of conflicting info. I was prepared to spend under $1000 to get it working myself, but am not willing to spend $2000 to have the dealer do it. I do have the map card installed, but it does nothing without the puck. Enovation Controls (ZeroOff) has a puck (58700015 / E2089200A) for around $600 that I thought would work, but they are telling me there is supposed to be some ZeroOff head unit up under the dash that I don't see and can't find any info on. Nautique Parts says I need puck 90576 for $1000, but I don't have confidence this will solve everything after talking to Enovation Controls. I've also read about software compatibility issues between the puck and LINC that doesn't leave me with much confidence.
