Hi, we were out on our 2019 G23 this weekend. While surfing, all engine gauges dropped to zero (oil pressure, oil temp, voltage, MPH, etc.). Linc screen stayed on and eventually we got a fault code. We reset faults but were unable to empty ballasts.
Took batteries to a local battery guy who tested them and they performed well so it's not voltage / battery related as far as we can tell. Anyone seen this on theirs? Know of a fix. Nearest dealer is 1.5 hours from us and tough to get into so hoping to have a solution on the Forum.
Tried for a couple hours on the lake to fix, but could not empty one of the ballasts. Eventually trailered home (slowly - LOL) and was able to get the ballast to empty while hooked up to plunger. No more faults showed up.
- watch video 1 and see at second 22 engine gauges drop out even while going 4mph.
- watch video 2 and see no fault were initially throw
- eventually ballast civet faults came up when back at the dock
- happened while someone was surfing. Wave fell apart and gauges dropped out. Were not able to get surf settings to re-engage. Plates & ballast would not adjust. Set speed would not work.
- I added some other images as well to see if they may help.
URGENT: Have a Havasu trip planned in 3 days and don't want to tow the boat 5 hours away for it not to work on the lake.
