2009 Nautique Crossover 211 w/ PCM 343 Crank Won't Start
Anyone had any issues with a PCM 343 Engine crank but won't start problem. Had a mechanic come to the dock and take a look. The computer isn't throwing any codes, he tested Fuel Pressure, Spark and all fuses and relays with no luck. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

When's the last time the distributor cap and rotor have been replaced? The EX343s tend to get hairline cracks in the distributor caps. If they haven't been replaced, then I'd try that first since it's cheap and should be done anyway. That distributor also has a tendency for the tabs for the distributor cap screws to break off. Distributor Cap & Rotor replaced last summer. Mechanic tested with a spare of each when he came to the dock.

Spray a couple of shots of starter fluid in the intake. If it fires and runs for a second, then it's a fuel issue. Could be water in the fuel for example. Or could be issues with the injectors not operating. If it doesn't fire with starter fluid, then it's likely an ignition issue.Comment

Sent the ECM to Nautique and they sent it to PCM. Waiting to hear back now. Thanks guys.Comment
