What size cord? - Side netting shock cord replacement on a 196/206

Anyone happen to know the size of the shock cord used on the side netting the Nautique 196 / 206?

    1/8 inch? 3/16 inch? I don't think it's 1/4 inch but ???

I'd like to order replacement cord but the boat's at the marina and I can't quickly measure.

Have you measured it to get a rough estimate. I replaced some on out older MC and it was near what it measured

No...can't measure without a trip to the boat. Was hoping someone here knew the size.

I replaced the cord on my 2000 Sport about 2 years ago. I used 1/4” it’s a little bigger than stock and was a little more work threading it through but worked fine.

I wanted something a little beefier than the stock cord because of all the crap the wife and kids throw in there.

Thanks. I think 3/16 will be what I try.

Are you sure it's not metric?

I kid, I kid. Soon, you'll have ordered multiple sizes, and none of them will be quite right. Anyone want some o-rings that are not quite the right size for your gas caps?

@mn_ryan ahhhhh....you know me well. My garage has lots of 'almost right' part flotsam. Car parts, nuts and bolts, tools, and just about everything else. I just consider this a cost of being a DIYer.
