Depth gauge only goes to 100 feet

    2014 210.
Depth gauge only reads to 100 ft. Below that it is accurate.
    what is the fix?
I see a couple other similar posts, but no resolution.
    thanks

Same on my 2004 model year. I understand the factory depth sounder system to be of moderate ability vs more advanced systems.

Mine only goes to 100' , anything below that isn't a concern but it seems to be very accurate in shallow water

if you're just curious how deep your lake is, you could get a handheld unit like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Hawkeye-Handh...06Y3BGTM7?th=1

i'm not. I just find it odd that the gauge stops reading at 100ft. below that, it seems to be pretty accurate.
wonder if this is how this particular gauge works ??

That's just how the older ones are. I can't remember the limit on my 2015, but my 2008 was 100'. My current one reads deeper.
