AN 226 Ballast fill issue

Port ballast tank fills itself after driving the boat, or just from the boat sitting in the water for a few days. Are there ballast valve overrides on a 2004 226? I looked around the engine hatch and did not see anything. All tanks seem to fill themselves by driving, but the port tank does it the most. Thanks.
