    2008 sv211 Team 343ex Check Engine Light

I have a CEL on my 2008 sv211 Team w/ pcm 343ex that I can not clear. It is low oil and was triggered on an oil change. Will a codemate clear the triggered event? or do I need to purchase the diacom software? I would just take it into the local dealer to clear but they are a 6hr round trip away. Is the ecm running MEFI4?

Thanks for the education, much appreciated

A 2008 Ex343 should be an eControls ECM. Post a picture of the label on the ECM. I doubt your CEL is related to the oil, that's likely just a coincidence. Yes a Rhinda product is what is typically used to read codes, read ECM sensor data, clear codes and things like that.

Codemate should clear it out. Are you sure the oil pressure senser isn't bad? I had one go out and had to replace it. Easy and cheap fix.
