Boat hit neutral randomly while surfing without moving the lever then wouldn't go back in gear fw or reverse. Emptied the tanks, cut batteries off and on few times messed with the neutral switch over and over and finally got it back in gear. Stayed around 7mph back home randomly hitting neutral a few times. I could then pop it back to neutral on the control then back to fw and it work again. Anything over 7 would immediately go to neutral. No strange sounds, vibration etc. Thinking bad solenoid or neutral switch?? 230hrs

It's the control unit, they go bad. It's $653 dollar part. There are other threads on this . Known problem

Boat was at the dealer for unrelated issue for 11 months in 2021 and they replaced it. They are failing that quick? This part right? https://nautiqueparts.com/throttle-base-assembly/

I'm not familiar with a "control unit"?
Did you mean Throttle Base Assembly perhaps?

I haven't come across anyone having a similar issue with a neutral bounce, that I remember..?

Same and I even searched. Seems like the known issue with those is when it comes to starting the boat. Mine starts just fine. My wife was surfing and we went from 11mph to 0 with a quickness. Boat would just rev in fw and reverse after that. It took about an hour and I finally got it to go in gear and we limped the 2hrs back to the dock at 7mph or below. Im thinking now it was in limp mode because anything over that MPH or rpm it would would just rev in gear like neutral.

The TBA have all kinds of various failures. Non-starting is the most prevalent issues, but it can include the symptoms you describe. And yes, it not unheard of for a replacement to fail almost immediately. That just means it wasn't right from the get go. I would sure hope it would be replaced again for free even if it's not currently under warranty.
The other possibility is the electronic shift actuator in the transmission is failing. Or the transmission has a pump issue causing the pressure to drop and the forward clutch to disengage. Did you check if the transmission was low on fluid?

Where can I find this TBA? Trans fluid looked good yesterday. You're referring to the shift solenoid? When it happened I had no FW or Rev fwiw.

I get it.
Just a thread etiquette nudge, if you follow a post you don't need to "quote" it. Run a quote if you get a few post's down the road, at that point it can start to get confusing to track what is going on. The administrator (distracted working on a boat or 9 today) will come in with his magic eraser and scrub them.
Man I hope you figure this dilemma out, maybe like jpwhit mentioned, it was a bad replacement TBA from the get go.
Have you contacted the outfit that replaced it yet?

Scooter G I havent reached out to them yet and probably wont. The last time my boat was there it stayed for 11 months so this will more then likely be a DIY. I may see if they can just swap parts if its bad. I'll remove it and take it to them but that will be about it. Im going to try and go get it out of the water tomorrow and get it to my shop so I can start diagnosing.

Limp mode won't put the boat in neutral. It'll just reduce engine power, but not typically to the point that you'll only go 7mph. So the issue you have is probably just intermittent. And a lot of problems, including issues with TBAs can be intermittent or temp sensitive.
I would get someone to hook up Diacom and see if there is any info stored in the ECU that'll help. Diacom can see a lot of info that isn't shown in the LINC diagnostic screen. LINC diagnostic screen only shows confirmed codes. Diacom can see pending codes and some warnings that won't show on the LINC screen. As well as live sensor readings for everything the ECM monitors.
