2019 G23 - Metallic noise from Vdrive/Trans at low RPMs

I'm noticing a metallic whining noise when my boat is at 1100-1300 RPMs. This comes from the Vdrive/Transmission area, and not the back of the engine bay.
The noise does not change in pitch or intensity when the RPMs are varied in the RPM range that causes the noise. This noise comes in addition to the Vdrive whine i've grown accustomed to hearing in other nautiques. boat has 225 hours and the Vdrive has just been replaced (Noise was already present prior to the replacement).
Dealer is saying everything sounds normal to them, but I'm interested in hearing the crowd's opinion on if this is normal in newer boats, as well as what causes it.

    Can anyone chime in?
Here's a youtube link of the video in case the prior attachment didnt work.

Note the normal lower pitched hum, along with the high pitched noise - almost like a whistle.

Sounds like bearing noise from the serpentine belt tensioner idler pulley to me. And if not the idler pulley, then something else on the serpentine belt such as the alternator, raw water pump, or circulating pump. After the boat is warmed up, remove the serpentine belt and run the boat with the belt off for 15-20 seconds and see if the noise goes away. If it does, then it's definitely something on the serpentine belt. It's fine to run the boat with the belt off for a short period. Nothing will overheat or cause other issues if you run it less than a minute. But it should only take 10-20 second to figure out if the noise is gone.

If it is something on the serpentine belt, then I use a mechanics stethoscope to isolate where it's coming from.

Thanks for the insight! I can check this out next weekend.
The noise kicks in once i hit ~1050-1100 rpms then goes away above 1300 rpms. Also, the pitch of the noise does not change with higher or lower RPMs.
Could the causes you’ve outlined lead to the noise being present only at selective RPM ranges? My thought is that such culprits would lead the noise be present at idle or perhaps higher RPM ranges, and potentially change in pitch with increased rpms.

Chris, curiosity question, why was the V Drive replaced with less than 225 hours, did I read that right?

Yes, I've seen the idler bearings behave like that before. But also sounds like this don't necessarily translate that well via a recording, so there are no guarantees.... And if it is the idler, is some ways the dealer isn't wrong. I've seen noisy idler bearings that run fine like this forever. But I've also replaced them just to get rid of the sound.

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, take the belt off and see if the noise is coming from there.

appreciate the help and insight! im curious to see how things sound when i get to the boat next weekend. i will also test if the noise comes in gear at those engine speeds vs in idle at those engine speeds

Scooter G - When i spoke with the dealer, they mentioned that a seal had failed in the vdrive and there were metallic shavings present, as a result.
Dumb luck that i caught a vdrive issue during the warranty period because of a noise coming from a different assembly.

                  update:
I did a test of the 1100-1350 RPM range in gear and in neutral.
The noise was only present in gear. This leads me to think the culprit is something in the transmission or drive shaft:strut alignment, since the serpentine belt was a constant in the test cases.
                  Curious to hear other thoughts
