2012 230 Rear Hatch Struts

Hi All,

I just bought a 2012 230 and for some reason the gas shocks/struts that hold up the rear side hatches of the V drive are missing. The ones that hold up the whole rear deck to access the engine are in place, I just need to source the ones for the side hatches where ballast is. The hardware to mount them is still intact but the struts are missing. Could somebody please provide me with a part number or measurements if they get a chance? I looked on NP and saw ones for a 236 which I would think would be the same but was surprised it didn't also say 230. Thanks for any help.

If anybody is out on their 230 this weekend, could you please grab me a part number or measurement of one of the gas struts used to prop up the large rear side lockers on an 06-12? I have the struts to lift the whole engine hatch but some reason both struts to hold up the individual rear side lockers are missing.

I have been through 3 different Amazon orders trying to find the right part to no avail as the descriptions were wrong and the compression length was longer than stated or the ones with small enough compression length were not strong enough to hold the hatch up. I just pulled the factory rear tanks to replace with bags and guess what was hidden under each tank for some reason? That's right perfectly good gas struts for the rear hatches that were missing. No idea why but here is the info in case anybody else needs it in the future: Master Lift 7451QG 0270N 251/11 C 15. These are 18" fully extended and 10.5 compressed which is what is the lengths I was ordering on Amazon but not what I was getting. It's not often starting one project immediately solves another one haha.
