2022 G23 Functions on Touch Screen Dash not working

Is anyone having a problem with the touchscreen dashboard on a 2022 G23? The boat powers up but several of the functions on the screen will not work. I have taken it to the Orlando dealer 4 times who are great guys but they do not have a clue as to why it keeps happening.

The dealership said it was a power connection and fixed it but keeps happening. They said it may be tied to the depth finder and removed it while we wait for another one. They are on backorder. Unfortunately this past weekend after about an hour of using the boat we took a break and when we turned it back on the same problem happened. We turned the batteries off and on which seemed to reset the boat like an iPhone and it worked to get back home.

We have been using the boat for almost a year with no problem. The boat has 240 hours. Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Could be many things, but I would think they would just replace the LINC system itself to see if that solves the issue, since that is what is acting up.

Take your time in the start up, like wait for each step before touching through the warnings and then start. There is another thread about this type thing, maybe not the same but seems similar.

It's clearly power/start up of electronics related for everyone else that's reported similar.

Hey Guys, Thank you very much for the responses. I will post what I learn to help anyone with a similar issue. I do love the boat! It is my second Nautique, and I want to get it fixed.

Can you be more specific about what's not working. It sounds like a CANBUS communications problem, which is likely why they removed the depth sensor. The most common cause of CANBUS communications problems is some CAN device on the bus that is failing in a way that it disrupts communications on the bus. Not enough info here on why they suspect the depth sensor. Most boat dealers don't have the equipment necessary to diagnose CANBUS problems very effectively. Especially if the problem is intermittent. So, they end up having to do some trial and error. The other way the CANBUS can have issues, is a problem with the actual wiring or the bus termination resistors.

The problem isn't likely to be the LINC screen itself, unless you're seeing strange behavior from the screen beyond other devices in the boat not responding or not providing data.

If I were debugging the problem, I'd use a CANBUS analyzer and logger. The logger is useful for intermittent issues.

Typical CAN devices in these boats can include

• Engine ECM
• One or more Power Distribution Modules (PDMs) which controls things like lights, ballast pumps, surf actuators, etc
• Keypads
• GPS Puck
• Depth / Temp Sensor
• Stereo head units and remotes for some audio systems
• Throttle Base Assembly for some drive and shift by wire systems
