Transmission Rebuild - Air Nautique

The transmission in my ‘02 Air Nautique is leaking fluid. I’m thinking it’s the input or output seal and plan on pulling it to replace the seal soon. In the event that I were to start having more transmission issues, is there anybody that rebuilds these PCM transmissions? It seems that Fantastic Finish in Ohio is no longer around. Would I need to buy a whole new transmission from NP to the tune of $3500+?

Parts for the old PCM 40A transmissions are no longer available. in the event that yours really does need a rebuild, it will probably be time to upgrade to an 80-series.

Just 6 days before I'm to take my SS to Tennessee I find a bilge full of trans oil. Thought it was the mainshaft seal turned out to be the gasket between case and the adapter. While it was out I changed the oil pump seal and o rings. Required some disassembly and it was fiddly to get the plates, drum and shaft lined up to go back together but I had it back together and tested in 3 days. Had I taken it in somewhere and if they could be bothered to work on a "old" boat I bet it would have sat all summer.
