Can anyone help me need the height on g series 2015 ,16 or 17 tower

So I am about to purchase a g23 and my buddy keeps telling me spend the extra money get a 18 or new since is has a 6 inch taller tower,can anyone tell me the height from the floor of there g to the tower excluding speakers..thanks in advance

I don't have an exact height because my wife put a hard no on the 2017 we looked at. She hit her head on the tower speaker standing up from the captain's chair when we looked at one. I presume it's less than 5'10" to the bottom of the speaker. No idea excluding them.

i went at looked at both today a 17 and 18..17 sits 5'6 from floor to bottom of speaker and the 18 sits at 6ft to bottom of speaker neaither i can fit under but 18 is way better
