Rear Ski Trunk Floor Removal Tips?

Hey guys,
I cannot seem to get the floor of my rear ski trunk removed to gain access to the ballast tanks. The floor is not screwed down, and I can get it up about 1/4 of the way, but it catches at the lip of the trunk and binds no matter what angle I try. I am wondering if someone has figured out how to remove this thing? tips please... Thanks!

Did you remove the two carpeted pieces at the front of the trunk? Those will allow the floor piece to move forward more so that it can come out.

Hey Jeff... no i didn't see how they could be removed. Do you need to remove any fasteners or do they just lift out vertically? Thanks!
