Hi all,
We have a 2022 G23 and perform all routine maintenance. Our first motor failed at 300 hours (lost compression on cylinder 8, speculated a dropped valve). Our second engine just failed after another 40 hours - cylinder 6 is compromised, possibly others. This seems like an extremely high failure rate. Has anyone with a 2022 ZZ6 logged more than 350 hours? Anyone else had a failure?
I’m looking specifically for feedback from those that use their boat a LOT, as I’m sure plenty of folks with lower utilization haven’t had issues. At this point I’m leaning toward getting a different boat with a different engine…
Thanks!
Jon
