The dealership billed me for a 25-hour service on a motor that was replaced under factory warranty last summer. Seams like I shouldn't have to pay for a second 25-hour service on the same boat. It might feel differently if they extended the warranty on the replacement motor but they apparently don't. I just got the invoice and have not had time to contact them but I'm curious what I should expect them to say when I push pack on it. Thanks in advance!

Considering you're paying for a service on the new engine and not the boat in particular, I'd say they are completely justified in the charge. 25 hour service isn't covered under warranty so you're on the hook for that. Unless the dealer decides to be helpful considering this engine was a warranty replacement and decides to comp you the 25 hour service fee, then I wouldn't expect much from them... and considering they have billed you for the service I doubt they will change their mind and comp you. Good luck though!Jason
