Just rebuilt my GT40 engine 40 over and put a roller cam in. Started up and things run great but once I hit 3000 rpm its like there is a limiter on there. My perfect pass didn't turn on so going to work on that and see if that could be what is causing the issue. Anyone ever run into this before?? Any help would be appreciated.

Rebuilt the top end? All the top end bits were pulled apart and reconnected? I'd start by checking the assembly. Make sure all the linkages and cables are correct. No impingement or PPs getting in the way. Hopefully it's something simple vs a setup issue with your cam.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
