    install two hooks

    Hello everyone
I want to install two hooks on the transom of my 210 water sport 2002 years.
The reason is that the central pylon is no longer present and for the practical side of the ropes hung directly at the back
It is to make from time to time a little buoy tow

I thought to install two hooks with a rear reinforcement plate and be able to tow with a pulley to start the load again ..

Have you ever seen this and know the resistance of the transom..? I had this on a PRE2000 Rod

Thank you in advance for your advice!

Why not just reinstall a pylon?

in my previous 2 Ski Nautiques, I considered installing transom tow points as I have grandkiddos and they want to tube occasionally. Normally, I’m allergic to tubes, but I’ve been known to acquiesce when the the little darlings ask: “Papa, tube?” Don’t pull a tube from a ski pylon…unless you like the pretzel look. I saw a dude ruin a ski pylon pulling a towable.

I would definitely install a backing plate to spread the load on the transom. I may even look at bedding the backing plate in fiberglass. Careful where you drill. Some Nautique transoms have built in ducts for vents, hoses, etc. Also, don’t mount it so that the tow points / ropes interfere with the swim platform.

Hide your lunch money, as the mean kids may beat you up for pulling a tube with a Ski Nautique.
