Gang,
For MY 2022 and later boats, there's a new LINC firmware available. Release Notes:
- Update risk acknowledgement disclaimer text on bootup
- Added Gen2 PDM rev 114 file
- Added Gen2 buttonpad Rev 107 file
- Fixed issue with SiriusXM channel and song information updating inconsistently.
- Removed telematics SIM carrier autodetect logic that was causing connection issues.
- Fixed depth units on the mapping screens not matching the rest of the interface.
Those are what we received from the factory.
I ran across an issue after the update. The update seemed to install just fine. It went through all of the screens and then prompted for a power off/on reboot which I did. All seemed to go through without issue. The next day (today) I took the boat out and the thruster was inoperative. If I went into the System menu and selected Canbus, it listed the thruster as "No Canbus Comm" which means the thruster controller wasn't talking to the Canbus. I tried a complete reboot with the same result.
I'd pretty much given up on it and left the boat shut down for several hours. When I restarted it, everything was fine. Thruster was communicating and working fine.
I contacted my dealer (White Lake Marine) and they confirmed this same behavior on at least one other boat they'd updated. It seems like it takes several reboots for the new firmware to communicate properly with the thruster controller.
