No Fuel pressure and no power to the fule pumps

So after de winterizing the 2002 SAN with the 8.1 python it would turn over but never catch when attempting to start. Tonight a friend stopped by with a fuel gauge and discovered there was no fuel pressure. We then tested and I'm getting no power to the fuel pumps. He said that pointed to the relays but we didn't have any new relays to test this theory. Do you guys think the relays are the most likely culprit or is there anything else you'd suggest we check?

Yes, the relays or bad connectors in the relay sockets are typically the most likely cause.

I've replaced both relay's at this point with no improvement. Any other thoughts?

If the safety lanyard has been removed - that cuts power to the fuel pump.

This is where I would look first. Part of my "Eliminate stupid" first in my PD/PSI (Problem Determination / Problem Source Identification) process. Never underestimate the power of stupid, simple solutions.....

Use a multi meter to make sure you have a trigger signal to the fuel pump relay coil. This will indicate if there is an issue with the neutral safety switch, safety lanyard, or something else in that circuit. If you do have power at the coil for the relay, then check to make sure you have 12VDC at the contacts for the relay. This will indicate a blown fuse/circuit breaker, loose connection, etc. If that is all good, then follow the power to the fuel pumps. It's just a process of elimination till you find where the issue is. No need to point the parts cannon at it when it only needs what it needs!
