2003 PCM 330 + WakeMakers 750 Bags Filled Overnight with Boat in Slip

    Question:

What would cause/allow an aftermarket ballast bag to fill up and overflow while the boat was sitting (powered off) in a slip? The boat was tied in the slip with empty ballast bags and the Launch Control System valves were "closed."

    Scenario:

We ran our boat for the first time and the WakeMakers 750 bags filled around 20% while running secondary to the Launch Control System Valves being "OPEN."

We got back to the marina, closed the Launch Control System valves, and emptied both ballast tanks with the Tsunami pumps and walked the boat into it's slip.

Around 24 hours later I got a call that our boat was sitting lower in the water than it should be.

When I got to the boat the port side WakeMakers bag was rougly 65% full and had apparently overflowed into the hull as there was water in the majority of the bilge area.

    Thanks in advance!

Again, the boat was sitting still, powered off, and only the port side ballast bag filled up and overflowed. I am not sure how the bag overflowed but I've removed it and will inspect it to find the leak but the bigger question is how water came into the bag with the boat just sitting still for 24 hours.

you need to close the seacocks in the engine bay, not just the helm controls
