2006 Excalibur 330 - Where's The Diagnostic Port?

I have a Diacom hand-held with the correct adapter for this motor, according to the manufacturer.

I pulled the spark arrestor cover and could not locate the diagnostic port.

I would have expected it to be on top of the motor, readily accessible.

Any guidance as to its location would be appreciated.

It's not on the top of the motor. If memory serves it's toward the back of the motor and a little lower down. There is a snap cover to protect the contacts. One caveat, my experience is with the motors that have the eControls ECM. Which is mid 2007 and beyond. Yours probably has an MEFI5 ECM, so it may be completely different. And when I say back of the motor, I'm talking about direct drive boats. If yours is a v-drive setup it'll be different.

It's a V-drive.

Looks like I need to get the flashlight out and fit as much of myself into the engine compartment as possible to locate it.

On a v-drive it should be on the end of engine towards the bow. Again assuming it's the same as eControls ECU motors.
