The drain in the large cooler under the port side seat has a lip that is approximately 1/4" thick.
Due the the drain design and location, the cooler cannot be fully drained.
Repeatedly dropping a towel in then wringing it out overboard is not optimal.
I plan to put a flush mount stainless steel drain in the center of the cooler.
I expect to find a fiberglass floor underneath the locker compartment that once drilled will provide an opening to the bilge.
The boat is a Limited Edition with no ballast tanks. The gas tank is under the floor just in front of the motor so no concerns there.
Can anyone confirm that the only thing below the cooler is a fiberglass floor, which once drilled will allow drainage into the bilge?
