Bow Light Wiring

Hey, everyone. New member. Just purchased a 1993 Sport Nautique Memorial Day weekend, and it is in need of some love. Need help making sense of the bow light wiring setup. Grey wire and black wire service the bow light. From the wiring diagrams, I think the grey wire is power, and the black wire is ground. The replacement Amazon bow light comes with red positive and black negative wires with no ground connection. What's the right way to wire this up? Thanks!
