2000 Air Nautique 210 ballast ejection pumps location

Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone could help me. I have a 2000 Air Nautique 210 direct drive and am working on the ballast system. I have replaced the ballast pump and got that working. The tanks are holding water but I cannot find the location of the ejection pumps to test them and the discharge button does nothing. Maybe those pumps are seized as well.. Do I have to remove the rear seat? Are they under the deck? I can’t seem to find any info on my boat. All the info is on the Supers with a center ballast system. I am absolutely stumped. I want to get these up and running for my trip this coming weekend so any and help would be appreciated. Maybe someone has a schematic or a picture of there boat taken apart while working on it. Anything helps! Thanks again.

First, let's figure out what boat you have. That will help determine the ballast setup.

There is no such thing as an Air Nautique 210 direct drive. All 210's are v-drives.

That's just an Air Nautique (no 210). Basically it is a Sport Nautique with ballast and a tower. They are great boats, but they are different than the 210 since the 210 has the engine in the back.

Also, here's your Owner's Manual, in case you don't have a copy.

If I remember correctly, that boat has two ballast tanks located in the rear of the boat. It is 400 pounds in total, I believe. Pull the trunk floor and you'll see it.

I restored a 2001 Sport Nautique that had the rear ballast option, and you'll be able to see how the ballast system is configured in my thread about that boat. Post 90 on page 6 is where the ballast discussion starts.

Thank you very much. Not much out there that I could find so I really appreciate it. I ended pulling the floorboards up and found the pump. It was a little bit of a job but worth it. The ballast system is up and running 100%. Can’t wait to get out next weekend.

found it and replaced it. Tanks fill and drain perfectly now with both pumps replaced.

The pump at the front of the engine bay, near the shut off valve does both. Runs forward and reverse. Check for wire connection on the back of the control panel.
