2011 Nautique 200, Throttle Issue

First ski outing today and found the throttle was loose and I needed to push it about an inch after it engaged into gear before the boat would accelerate. Can someone recommend a You Tube video or another type of video that will help walk me through tightening it up? There were no other issues with the boat, it would go in and out of gear and would hold speed without a problem.
