Scooter G - I'm with MN Ryan ! No way would I accept that. Did they let their kid do the repair? Or maybe the shop dog?? Unless it was completely trashed at the start (and it wasn't), it should come back looking brand new, with only discoloration and/or texture smoothing at the repair site. I'd personally send it back again rather than pay out of pocket, but I get not wanting to continue fighting...

      Bummer, man!

        Shop dog, lol
I spoke with the Dude that personally repaired it, and he promised me it went out the door spanky clean. I don't know, maybe FedEx is just being really rough on their shipping. I'll give PD this much, they are super good in always getting back to me on a response, which is bonus. They are up to sending out a third ship label.
I may try a block & hammer as zmnypit mentioned, and see what happens. They dings are small, and if I add insult to injury, they have to fix it anyway.
        1st world problems, stay tuned...

Command decision and tired of playing the game. Dings were minor, wanted to see what damage I could do. Fortunately Nibral is not super hard.
Cleaned up good, edges are spot on straight and follow a good line. Took it out yesterday, ran smooth.

Riddle me this Batman. Does this look a little off, not sure what to think here??
Not taking on any water in the bilge, no noted vibration. This was a new dealer installed shaft 3 seasons ago.

Edit: Thread fell off the radar, hoping for some input on the shaft positioning. Should we have more of center on how the shaft punches through, or does it matter?

Nice work on the ding repair, sir.

I have no idea on the shaft alignment, but that definitely looks off to me. With my paranoia I know I'd be calling my dealer / Nautique ASAP. Here's hoping it's a non-issue.

What are you guys paying for prop repair?

Had slightly folded over tips on all 4 blades from scraping bottom at ramp.
Cost using H&H propeller in Salem MA was $366 including return shipping.

Depends on size. The place I use and linked to earlier in this thread charges $250 up to 13.5", $260 for 13.5-15", 285 for 15-17", and $325 for 17-19". Those prices include shipping. They're local for me, so I just drop off.

Yeah so could have saved $100. I really loved the $10 "energy surcharge" line item on my bill too. Just add it into the price and don't insult me lol.

The prop on my G needs some love so probably will try them. I need to find a better ramp when the water is low!

But you see where I am at with that. $366 might be a deal to get it right the 1st time...
