    Changing impeller zr4

Hi folks - need some help if you can offer any. I am in process of changing the impeller on my 2020 gs22 with the zr4. I watched some YouTube videos and read some threads here. I had no problem getting the impeller out, but now I am struggling to get the housing bolts lined back up. In can get two of three, but never the third. Now I am worried in boogered up the threads on one of them. Any tips or tricks for getting the house bolts lined up with the holes on the pump?

Are you sure that the housing is properly lined up. Loosen the 2 other bolts to allow for some play, that should help.

Are the threads bad on the bolt? Remove the housing and try to just thread in the bolt and see if it's cross threaded

Thanks for the response. I have allowed some play. I was wondering if housing had an alignment indicator I am missing or something. At this point i do see a bit of damage on one of the bolts, but was able to thread it in without the pump in place. I'll just keep at it and chalk it up to a simple job that took a turn for the worse.

I took a white marker and drew a line on top, much easier to see.
