The hinged glass piece in the middle of the windshield is too snug.
There is frame to frame contact near the top, and a small amount of persuasion is required to close it.
No adjustment appears possible, so I will need to move the starboard window frame 1/8" or possibly 1/4".
Looking at removal, it appears that the mounting screws for the bottom of the window frame are easily accessible after removing the flexible trim strip.
Mechanically, is that all there is to it?
I will fill the existing holes before drilling new ones. I'm sure that some of the new holes will be very close to, if not on top of to the old, particularly toward the rear of the frame.
I have a fresh container of matching gelcoat, will that work as filler for the old screw holes? Or do I need to fill with fiberglass resin to ensure strong screw holes?
