Timing setting for PerTronix Flamethrower Ignitor II (ProTec replacement)?

Hi all - I am sorting things out on a newly acquired 94 Ski Nautique with a carbureted PCM 351 Windsor that has been converted from the original ProTec ignition to a PerTronix Flamethrower Ignitor II distributor. Current idle timing is just shy of 10 degrees TDC. The engine is running pretty well, but I still want to make sure I have things optimized.

10 is a nice safe number. I've run as high as 12 in my old Mallory but backed off to 10 again because cold starts were really hard on the starter and battery.
