    Courtesy Lights Not Working on My 2020 GS22 ….

    I just tried to turn on our Courtesy lights and got nothing but the interior light under the observer seat to illuminate. I also seem to have lost the ability to use the enhanced courtesy lighting package to illuminate the cupholders and set them to different colors. I can’t find that anywhere in the system settings even though we’ve used them every summer since we bought the boat new in 2020. I tried hitting the Color Courtesy Light breaker under the helm but no love there - still no cupholders or interior lights (just the light inside the observers seat). System Diagnostics look fine (see pic at the bottom)


    Our Dealer updated our software last month to fix a different issue - Is there a chance that they somehow deleted the color courtesy light option? Any thoughts/suggestions/solutions? I should see this in my Linc but I dont.

    Most likely the dealer didn’t configure the boat options correctly after the software update.

      Thanks JP, I suspect that as well. I just pulled the original paperwork on the boat and confirmed that the boat was indeed delivered with the Enhanced Courtesy Lighting package so I’ll be making a call to the Dealer tomorrow to make a note in my file for them to reprogram the boat correctly when I drop it off for Winter storage in October!

        Unlikely this is the culprit. If the enhanced courtesy lights are disabled in the Dealer menu, the screen he's showing here won't appear at all.

          Sorry for the confusion in my original post. The problem is that I currently DON’T have this screen showing up in my Linc even though I should have it since I have the Enhanced Courtesy Light package as ordered from the factory. I put the pic up to show what I SHOULD see in my system but don’t. I’ll call the Dealer today to ask exactly what they did and ask if they could have accidently and incorrectly overwrote that option when they did the software update.

              JP - You’re a rock star! I went in the settings via the Dealer Code and saw that the Enhanced Courtesy Color setting was not enabled. I clicked enable and we are good to go now!

              Thanks for the easy fix, we’re back in business again!
