Power Reduction Active - See Dealer error message

My 2007 Air Nautique 220 has been beeping and displaying the error message "power reduction active - see dealer" a few times this summer. I shut off the boat and let it sit for a few minutes and when I start it back up it is fine. My dealer sold and the new dealer doesn't work on boats this old. I've talked to two boat mechanics that had vastly different ideas about the problem. I saw a few posts here on this topic back in 2016 and 2017 and nobody had a clear answer then. Anybody know what the correct fix is for this problem?

        One of the following

        - low oil pressure reading
        - high engine temp reading
        - excessive spark knock indicated by knock sensor

Often it’s a bad sensor as opposed an actual engine problem

Much easier to figure out if you connect Rhinda Diacom to the ECU

Thank you. You don't think it is related to the power distribution module? I'm also having intermittent problems with the gauges.
