2023 G21 Clunking into Gear

Hoping someone can help me diagnose this issue. My 2023 G21 makes a clunking sound at 2000rpm but only if I put it in reverse first. When I swing around to pick up someone in the water and put it in reverse to get into position, once I get going forward again I hear a clunk right at 2000rpm. If I don't put it in reverse, then it won't make the sound. Anyone ever experience this?
