Replacing 12V 9A horns with 12V 10A horns - any issue?

The horns on my 2006 Nautique 226 need to be replaced. They are FIAMM units rated at 9 amps.

I intend to replace them with Motohorn Dual Track units which are rated at 10 amps.

Do I introduce any risk to the wiring or horn button with the extra amp?

I'm inclined to think not, given that any use will be very brief.

But it's electricity and I have limited knowledge of the discipline.

The complicated short answer is amperage draw in relationship to wire size and distance.
The longer answer is if your wire size is 16 gauge you are good for about 6 feet of wire according to the technicals. If it’s 14 gauge wire you are good to go. I have no idea where you are at here. You are not running extended bursts of current with a horn, well ok maybe sometimes. You are talking a 1 amp increase, which shouldn’t be anything to write home about. Amperage is similar to running water through a garden hose, the more water you push through it the more amperage. The difference with electricity is generation of heat, too small of hose and too much water bursts the hose. With all that word salad, my vote says you are good to go here.
