I have generally not been very organized on this so hoping to correct that this year. Altogether I've 11 full size and 3 PWC/Motorcycle batteries to overwinter.
Best charger / maintainer? I've generally used Ctek (2200, MXS 5.0, MUS Polar). I believe these do as well as maintainer as Tender or other options?
What has been your experience maintaining two to four batteries per charger? E.G., connected in parallel vs rotating every few weeks vs something else? I assume if connected in parallel that they should each first be fully de-sulfated/reconditioned and fully charged, then connected in parallel for winter maintaining?
Issues with keeping batteries and maintainer in cold / sub-zero temps? The polar is specifically designed for this but not sure if it's still not better to haul them up to my garage.
Use to be a thing to never leave a battery on concrete, is that still a thing?
Other recommendations?
Thanks,
