need to fix up some scratches and blisters.

anybody know the correct color for matching silver cloud?

white & silver? or grey?

any help would be appreciated

You can get matching gel coat from minicraft.com or spectrumcolor.com

dido. Make sure you get your ratios correct or the color will not match and you might not be able to achieve a high gloss.

I did not realize you could get color match gel coat - great. But when I look at the two web sites, I see all the colors, but my lower section that needs a gel repair is white. But I do not see white or something that sounds close to white - am I missing something ?

It is there. Correct Craft's white is called Silver Cloud.

The color would not match exactly if you purchase the gel from spectrum. You would be tinting to color match and when it dried it would be off a little.

That stuff "evercoat" sucks. I tried that stuff one day. Impossible to match corretly. Remember, a little color goes a very long way.

The reason for the $400.00 cost is that it is considered hazardous material and cannot be shipped by aircraft. Check your local fiberglass store or fiberglass repair facility and they should direct you to a reputable supplier who has the tools to color match. By the way the Gel Coat on your boat is 25mm thick and you should be able to buff out most of the scratches.

That is one inch. I think you mean 25 mils thick.

you are correct about the shipping.

i would say gel coat is more like 2.5mm thick (abit over 1/16"). the unfortunate gouge is too deep to rub out and my platform came with a large air bubble on a corner that is about 7mm in diameter

at least i can take the platform with me to a gel supplier
