2020 lsv with xr 550

Hi all , about 6 months ago I upgraded my axis to a 25 lsv and it has the odd ( for Malibu xr 550). Saying that every question I have searched about the engine has constantly sent me here so figured I would have better luck posting here than on the Malibu forums. My question is has anyone with the xr 550 engine pre 2019-20? Unsure on the year this feature became available upgraded / modified the engine to use the quick disconnect drain system shown in the video below ? I would love to do this to my bu if that’s a possibility? Any info or feedback would be greatly appreciated

Should I post this in a different forum to get more eyes on it ? Is there a general discussion area I am missing?

2020 XR550 engines already had that system, at least on Nautiques.

2019 and earlier had the little blue plugs that could be removed by hand, so not much more difficult than the 2020 system.

For that reason, I doubt you'll find anyone here who has had to convert theirs.
